Professor Doctor Rauf Niazi is the Head of Department of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences Islamabad Pakistan.

Dr. Rauf Niazi is the Head Supervisor of Post Graduates Trainees of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University and College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan. He has trained hundreds of residents who are now well-established and serving the people all around the world. He encourages his trainees to constantly educate themselves with the latest developments in the field of medicine. He says, “it is mandatory for a doctor that he should be well aware of all the latest Medical Guidelines, he says “I don’t prescribe a medicine if i don’t know its effects, side effects, indications, contraindications, mechanism of action, specific role in elderly, adult and child, and i want that my students should also learn and adopt this habit”.

Dr. Rauf Niazi has been serving the sacred profession of Medicine and Health since last 25 years. He dedicated his life to humanity. Hundreds of doctors who are supervised by him are now supervising others, thus, they are a part of the chain that starts from Professor Dr. Rauf Niazi and his respected teachers. He has published hundreds of research articles and in his research, he mostly targeted the population of Pakistan as he believes that we should do our own research as our genetics and environment are different from the West.
