My doctor told me I may have bronchitis. Every time I lay down on my back my chest rumbles when I breathe. How do I get rid of this quickly ?

Hello
thank you for asking the question.
There are various causes of bronchitis. The time it may take for resolution depends on the cause. for instance, viral bronchitis takes 2 weeks to resolve completely. Bronchitis caused by bacteria takes a shorter time to resolve if appropriate antibiotics are commenced early. Moreover, allergic bronchitis continues unless the allergen is removed or antiallergics are started to control it. Thus, we should have a cause in our mind to advise appropriate treatment. Antiallergics are commonly prescribed to control symptoms of non-bacterial bronchitis.
You may ask a followup question in the comment.
Regards.
