M from lahore ,age 17 ….In 2012 got appendix from services hospital Lahore after that multiple times i was admit in hospital with high fever n RIF pain n was diagnosed with typhoid 3 to 4 times … Got pain relief for some months n then pain started again . Whenever I went to doctor they gave me painkiller injections n didn’t diagnosed the problem ……..In 2016 I was diagnosed with tuberculous n used ATT for 9 months after taking ATT I got pain within couple of days again n again n like usual doctors gave me painkillers but they didn’t diagnosed any disease …………In 2019 I got severe pain again n went to hospital doctors gave painkiller but last time I insist doctor to diagnose whats the problem …I was admit for 20 days n they diagnosed crohn’s disease N took steroids for 3 months , after completing course I got pain within couples of days in Right abdomen but this time didn’t went to doctor because of covid 19 n the pain is increasing day by day ……sometimes its difficult to breathe n sometimes I feel like my left side is not working properly .I feel large size hard mass in right abdomen n produces sounds too much ,the mass irritates me so much that I literally cry sometimes ……..There r 2 lump below the ear behind the jaw on both side also 1 lump under left arm .Can u suggest me what should I do

If it is Crohn’s disease and diagnoses properly with the help of imaging such as CT scan of the abdomen and endoscopic biopsies, then whenever you notice there abdominal pain, diarrhoea or blood in stool it is very important you go to the hospital. As steroids are needed intravenously to control the disease. Discuss with your doctors regarding medicines such as azathioprine, and biologicals such as infliximab, if their use is appropriate for you.
Timely management is very important in Crohn’s disease and CRP, albumin, haemoglobin and electrolytes are done regularly to monitor disease activity.
