Unfortunately there is no medicine that can be used to cure hernia of any type. The only treatment of abdominal or any other type of hernia is surgery. With the help of surgery the defect in the abdominal wall is closed. Hernia means protrusion of a component one cavity to the other through a defect or a gap, for example, in abdominal hernia, part of intestine or intraperitoneal fatty tissue (omentum) come out of the abdominal cavity through a gap in the muscular wall of the abdominal, and lies just below the skin. In order to treat this hernia, surgeon pushes the protruded structures back to the abdominal cavity and closes the defect with the help of sutures or using a mesh. This is the only method to close the defect, no medicine can push the herniated contents back and close the defect, only surgeon can do this manually. I hope you concern has been answered well.
