Hello. My name is Kristima and I am 16 years old. I am a dancer. I have been dancing for 10 years and I always had a pretty flexible back. Only a few weeks ago I started to feel horrible pain in my back when I was bending backwords and forwards. I have been putting hot creams on my back during the night. It got better a little bit, but when I want to bend it’s like my back is stuck and it won’t let me go further.

Thank you for asking the question.
Sudden back pain, sometimes results from muscle spasms (muscle pulls, cramps), sudden movements sometimes cause this. These pains are self-limiting and resolve spontaneously within few days, local or oral analgesics help.
But if pain continues, doesn’t resolve then we should rule out, vertebral pathology, for example, any damage intervertebral discs, which need specialized interventions sometime.
So if you are still having pain or pain is worsening then see a doctor.
