Having unprotected sex, and then missing the period, pregnancy is a possibility, all emergency contraception technique works if done within 3 days, 7 at most. Now you had intercourse 8 days ago, emergency contraception won’t work, now per my opinion, you need to confirm whether you are pregnant or not and then seek an expert opinion.
