Thank you for asking the question. 
Malaria should be treated as an emergency during pregnancy. Intravenous artesunate is the treatment of choice for chloroquine-resistant malaria. If artesunate is not available then intravenous quinine can be used. A combination of quinine and clindamycin is used to treat uncomplicated P. Falciparum malaria. , Mefloquine can also be used in pregnancy with caution as it is a category B drug. Oral treatment is not given if vomiting is persistent. If patient can take oral medication then he can be switched to oral preparations. 
Please follow your doctor’s advice, as although these drugs aren’t entirely safe, but there benefits outweighs the risks and we can’t delay the treatment of malaria in pregnancy.
